WORLD MAP
In Romancing Saga 2, the vast World Map is divided in 16 Regions.
The Regions that are part of the Empire can be accessed directly from the World Map.
Otherwise to reach your destination you have to travel from one Regional Map to another, or even travel through Local Maps.
Three Regions cannot be annexed: Frozen Sea, Austeros, Torrence.

COMPLETE QUEST LIST BY REGION
Here is a list of the quests you can do in RS2!
Your only goal is to defeat the Seven Heroes (in CAPITAL LETTERS below): most quests are not compulsory, some can be completed in various ways, some can only be accessed under conditions (completion of other quests, later generations). These quests will be the occasion to recruit allies (in italics below), increase your revenue, and get money and equipment.
Notes:
- Subquests are not mentioned in the table below. E.g. South Longit: only 'Mermaid Quest' is mentioned but it entails getting Sea Swallow Nest in Toba, Eggshell in Savannah and Lake Aqua Water (which in turn entails getting the Moonlight Comb in Termite Den) for the Witch in Witch's Sanctum to make the Mermaid Potion.. Follow the links (to the Walkthrough) for details.
- Only a fraction of these quests can trigger a Time Jump: see the Generation Skip Occurence section for details.
- 'TE' = Throne Event: sitting on your throne will trigger an action if the conditions are met. See the Avalon Throne Events section.
- 'Last Emperor' = Events accessible only with your endgame last Emperor.
- '[Re:]' = Only in the Remaster Edition.

Each Region houses several accessible locations - usually either towns or dungeons - discovered during your quests and travels. By selecting these locations you access Local Maps, aka Action-Movement Maps or Adventure Maps.

TERMITE DEN ・ 白アリの巣 (Termite Nest)
Region: Savannah.
Access / Open: Once: sleep in Ostro, dive in the hole, defeat the Queen. Then: hole in Ostro. | Hole in Gregale (access to full Den after defeating the Queen).
Note: After you clear the Den, Moles repopulate the last area (aka Mole Village, but it is never mentioned in-game).
